Toms Gruppen A/S IT

Digitalisation Programme Manager

Do you want to catalyse our digitalisation journey – and lead an independent and skilled team of 5?

Join Toms and step into a newly established position where no two days are alike.

“Your mission will be to build a new PMO function in Toms to ignite our digital transformation and ensure we develop and capture value from digitalisation. Digitalisation is highly prioritised, and you will get a lot of attention from the management group,” says Per Lerche Møller, Group IT Manager.

Welcome to Group IT

At our HQ in Ballerup, you will become part of Group IT together with 18 colleagues. Right now, we are strengthening our focus on digitalisation across all our business units. This means we are initiating numerous digitalisation projects requiring careful planning and execution to ensure we make the most out of the opportunities that digitalisation presents.

To deliver successfully, we are strengthening our IT delivery process and introducing a new IT governance structure in close collaboration with the business.

You will help us identify new ways to make Toms digitally fit for the future – so we can continue to deliver sweet experiences to the Danes and the rest of the world.

Set the direction for Toms’ digital future

As our new digitalisation programme manager, you will get a challenging and exciting role. Taking charge of our digitalisation journey as the leader for 2 project managers and 3 IT infrastructure specialists, you are the one to keep the big picture and make sure we deliver as planned.

“Your team is highly experienced and has a lot of drive. They are eager to learn from you and develop Toms’ future project management toolbox alongside you,” says Per.

In other words, your working week will be highly versatile, and some of your main tasks will be to:

  • Scope, plan and budget digitalisation projects in close collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Follow digitalisation projects closely from A to Z and drive 1-2 projects yourself
  • Design and set up a PMO function and governance process to drive and control our digital transformation
  • Motivate, develop and guide your team to make sure we develop our project management skills and toolbox continuously
  • Proactively engage with our different business units and IT teams to clarify needs and discuss new initiatives
  • Present progress to the management group – and together, you will prioritise new initiatives

Close ties to the management group

Joining Toms, you will be part of an ever-changing organisation. You will be reporting to our Group IT manager and receive feedback from the management group continuously. To put it simply, you will be part of the decision-making process and leave your mark on our digital future.

Your programme and project management skills are on point

You are outgoing and know how to interact with different stakeholders – from top management to team leads and IT specialists. Moreover, you:

  • Bring experience with project or portfolio management
  • Have a solid understanding of business processes and know how to challenge the status quo
  • Either have management experience or are ready to take on the responsibility for a small team
  • Have the flexibility to travel 40-50 days a year, mostly to our offices in Poland, Germany and Sweden
  • Speak and write English effortlessly, and if you know Danish or German, it is an advantage – but not a requirement
